Please note that our venues for meetings have changed.

Saturdays  10 am to 3 pm - we meet at Baptist Church, Gillbrae Road, Dumfries DG1 4EJ. For these meetings we have access to kitchenette where we can make hot drinks. Bring your own mug and lunch. We will be upstairs but there is a lift.

Thursday evening meetings have changed to afternoon meetings 1 pm to 3 pm - at Gracefield Art Centre, Edinburgh Road, Dumfries DG1 1JQ. The Cafe is open from 10.00 hrs until 15.30 hrs.  2

Our membership has increased to £45 - if you have not yet paid, you can pay by bank transfer details in email from Sue or pay on the first meeting 15th July by checque or cash.

Miniature quilts 24" or less by June Drennan

This day you have an opportunity to experiment with some techniques to see how small you dare to go with your piece. 
 

Requirements:

• bring usual sewing kit, rotary cutter, rulers and sewing machine
• some fabric strips 
• and/or left over squares and pieces or fat quarters with small patterns, self colours, blenders etc. A variety of bright and light, medium and dark. 
  Fabrics will be cut on the day. 
• hopefully we have small quilts 24" or less to have a show and tell in the end of the day. 

There also will be table with fabric, threads, books and bits and pieces should anyone be able to make use of these items in return for a small monetary donation.
