UPDATE INORMATION

27 JANUARY 2022

 

Saturday 5th February 2022 Heathhall Community Centre 10.00-15.00

Andrea Lees workshop. 

Kits will be provided at a cost of 10 pds. The fabric colours in the kit will be the same as the examples of the work which were available at our December meeting. Take your own threads, colours depending which project you are making. But bobbing thread can be neutral or light grey. Bring your sewing machine which should have at least 10 decorative stitches. Your usual sewing kit. Bring your lunch, coffee and teas will be provided.

 

Thursday 17th February 2022 18.30 - 20.30 Heathhall Community Centre

Fabrc Bowls by Ena McKay

Ena will supply Fast to fuse and Bond a web required for this project at cost price. Please bring 2 x at quarters of co ordinating fabrics, pencils, rulers, scissors etc.

 

Saturday the 5th of March 2022 10.00 - 15.00 Heathhall Community Centre - Easter Bunnies by Jane Jung

Fabric or Calico at least a one fat quarter for bunnies. Smaller piece of pink / contrast fabric for ears. Chenille wires, fabric scraps, small pieces felt, ribbons,embroidery thread. Buttons to use as embellishments. Toy stuffing small bag. Sewing machine and usual sewing kit.

 

Thursday 17th March 2022 18.30-20.30 Heathhall immunity Centre. Korean Patchwork by Tanja Burlison

Bring 3 1/2 " or 4 1/2 " squares of fabric scraps to make a small drawstring bag. Your usual sewing kit. 

 

2nd of April to 7th of May 2022 our Exhibition in Gracefield Art Centre 

 

Thursday the 26th of May 18.30 - 20.30 Heathhall Community Centre AGM

 

We realise we are still dealing with Covid 19 but hope you feel able to join us at our meetings. Please bear in mind government advice and consider doing lateral flow test before coming. Remember you do not need to take part in our planned activities but are welcome to take your own work.

 

The Triennial exhibition will start 2nd of April. In order to make plans for the exhibition please complete an entry form (emailed by Jane Jung)) for each item you want to enter to the exhibition. Completed forms to be sent to Elma by 5th of March 2022.

 

 

WE  LOOK FORWARD TO SEE YOU AT OUR MEETINGS.

 

As previously, please bring your own work along to all our meetings so that you always have something to do. Information of requirements will be given nearer the time.

 

 
    Triennial Exhibition dates 2/4 - 7/5/2022 - have now been confirmed. Exhibition lasting for 6 weeks. As the exhibition is being held over Easter it might be nice to include the Bunnie Gift Bags on our sales table.
